Story-Driven Data
The first part of this guided experience allows users to explore the direct relationship of food insecurity and obesity through a scatter plot chart, where one square represents one county in Pennsylvania.
By selecting different counties, users can listen to recordings from individuals experiencing food insecurity, providing a human perspective that amplifies the data presented.

Visualizing Government Priorities
Once users understand the problem, they are guided through screens illustrating the total amount of government spending on crop insurance, focusing on indemnities.
By filling a box with patterns that correspond to different crops, users can better understand which crops hold the highest value to the government.

Cheap but Unhealthy Food Options
By reviewing the top 10 sources of calories for low-income Americans, users can start to understand how government spending makes certain crops cheaper, making less nutritious foods more affordable and avaialble to low-income Americans.
